FMWM would like to thank and congratulate all the winners. We also would like to thank the following donors: Nancy Quinon, Alex Felipe, Elsie Laqui, Marco Luciano, and others who donated special prizes for individuals who had sold the five major winning tickets.

“Many thanks to all the members of FMWM and allied organizations for their dedication and valuable support for this fund raising activity,” said Cathy Carpio, finance officer and the lead person of the fund drive.

This first fund drive was intended to raise funds for FMWM’s educational and community outreach programs, and other organizational activities and campaigns. Part of the proceeds will be donated to Build Migrante A Home, a program geared to build Migrante International its own office [and shelter for migrant workers] in Manila.

In 2009, FMWM plans to intensify its programs on education, outreach and community partnership. It will also focus on recruitment of new members as well as its campaign to initiate fundamental changes in the Live-in Caregiver Program along with other Migrante-Ontario member organizations.
