Knights of Rizal to hold the 21st Int’l Assembly in Davao Feb. 23 – 25
Sir Ed C. Prillo, KGOR, regional commander of the Knights of Rizal, Canada is calling all the officers and members of the Canada Region to submit to him as early as possible the names of Rizal Chapters officers, members, and their ladies who are interested in joining the Canadian contingent in conjunction with the forthcoming 21st International Assembly of the Knights of Rizal which will be held in Davao City and Tagum City on February 23, 2017 to February 25, 2017.
Under the leadership of Canada Regional Commander Sir Ed C. Prillo, KGOR, held a very successful Knights of Rizal Canada Region 16th Commanders’ Ball at the Rembrandt Banquet Hall on October 29, 2016 at 930 Progress Ave., Toronto.
Prillo is strongly supported by Sir George R. Poblete, KGCR, four-time Regional Commander of the Knights of Rizal, Canada Region; Sir Lapulapu Cana, KGCR, past Canada Regional Commander; Sir Jaime T. Marasigan, KGOR, immediate past regional commander of Rizal Canada Region and Deputy Supreme Exchequer, Rizal Supreme Council; and Dr. Tom Virey, KGOR, past Rizal Canada deputy regional commander. They are the advisers of the Rizal Canada Region comparable to the Council of Elders of the Rizal Supreme Council.
The most respected retired Chief Justice Sir Reynato S. Puno, Sr., KGCR is the Knights of Rizal Supreme Commander.
His Excellency, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, will be the 21st Rizal International Assembly Keynote Speaker. He served as Davao City Mayor for 21 years.
The Rizal International Assembly will give emphasis on the discussion of its programs and projects for the Rizalian years of 2017 – 2018.
