Mosquera inducts Tanza association officers
Consul General Alejandro B. Mosquera has cited the late President Emilio Aguinaldo as the President of the Philippine Revolutionary Government at the swearing into Office of the first set of officers of the Tanza Cavite Association of Canada.
Mosquera also mentioned the first Caviteño president of the Philippine Press Club-Ontario who is from Tanza, Cavite, in the person of Tenny Soriano.
The Philippine Consul General inducted into office the first set of officers of the Tanza Cavite Association of Canada which was held recently at he parish hall of the St. Boniface Church at Markham corner Kingston Road in Scarborough, Ontario, recently which includes Edgardo Torres, president, who is a nephew of Ricardo (Bing) Torres, the former news editor of MANILA BULLETIN and the founding editor of TIMES JOURNAL.
Other inductees include Armando Blancaflor, vice president; Ellen Figueroa Cruz, secretary; Shirley Reyes, treasurer; and Myrna Soriano, auditor.
The advisers are Domingo Abug, Danny nd Eleng Ching, Paul Clavero, Chubby and Vicky Fojas, Carmen Liao, Justin Montano, Digna Pangilinan Plumley, Lope and Cora Perea, Tenny and Myrna Soriano, Dolly and Carmen Sosa.
Egay Torres said that the organzation is now soliciting books and other items to be sent to the different barangays in Tanza.
