Arroyo wins Toronto vote

TORONTO–For the first time in Philippine history, Filipino citizens living in Ontario were able to exercise their right to vote during the May 10, 2004 Philippine presidential elections. Held at the Philippine Consulate on Eglington Avenue West, 355 voters out of 734 registrants were able to meet the deadline that was set at 3:00 a.m.
