PIDC President, Norma Carpio gave a cheque of $2000 to Gawad Kalinga Canadian President, Pidoy Pacis, for building a modern house that is typhoon and earthquake proof for a poor family in the Philippines. This happened on March 20, 2016 during the Mrs. Philippines PIDC 2016 at Rembrandt Banquet Hall; Jun Villaruz, and Roy Start are the chair and co-chair of this Pageant event.
