Visual artist Lala Garcia conducted painting lessons at Mabuhay Festival, Nathan Phillips Square, on Aug. 26-27, 2017. Walk-in students, young kids and adults, learned how to use the brush, mix colours and actually paint on canvas under the one-on-one guidance of a professional painter. Lala studied visual arts at Cardinal Carter School for the Arts
