Durham Fil-Canadians hold Fiesta Week 2016

By Li Eron DURHAM REGION, ONTARIO–The Filipino community in Durham Region is growing steadfastly these past years. One proof of this is the city of Pickering hosting an annual Filipino Fiesta celebration organized by a Filipino non- profit organization. In Oshawa alone, you can see a lot of activities organized by Filipino individuals or organizations.

Pinoy Fiesta stars, beauties wow crowd

Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF) held its annual Pinoy Fiesta event at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on June 18. Special guests are actors from the Philippines, Tom Rodriguez and Betong Sumaya. This multi-cultural event was also attended by performers from the Chinese, Polish, Jamaican and Filipino and other communities. Also in attendance are politicians
