The Federation of Filipino Canadians of Brampton are among a growing group of community leaders who are passionate about supporting local health care. The Federation will host their first annual “Thank You Christmas” Formal Gala in support of the new Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness.

Virgin de Barangay anniversary celebration at MFFC

The Virgin de Barangay of Scarborough held their anniversary with Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Joel Pabilona at the St. Marie De Leuca convent in Markham. They were greatly supported by the Sisters of Marie De Luca. Following Filipino traditions, their leader Fred Mangallon and his regular thirty devotees invited their over 120 guests

Immaculate Heart of Mary Rosary group 37th Anniversary in Toronto

The families in Toronto of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Block Rosary Group have continued their prayers in the homes of their families in the past 37 years. Their oldest member is now 99 years old, with a number of the original families in their nineties. Some of the original members still active are Asing

Johannes Mikhail’s 2nd Birthday

A BIG CELEBRATION was held, October 4, with the children survivors of Typhoon Haiyan in Barangay Buntay of Tanauan, Leyte. It was also well supported by the De Veyra & Luzana families. This was the second time YOHAN celebrated with the children. Shortly after his first birthday, over 500 kids from Barangay Buntay were treated

RHEIGN FRANCEZ SANCHEZ turned ONE Oct. 13, 2015 with a grand birthday celebration at her ancestral home in Tanauan, Leyte. Rheign is the first born of  Regie and Francis Sanchez, and the first grandchild of  Lina and Barangay Captain Reynaldo Musca.  She is the great granddaughter of Pomposa de Veyra Musca, 98, the longest living matriarch of the De Veyra family of Tanauan Leyte.
