CLIQUE ‘Someday’: An electrifying concert

CLIQUE ‘Someday’: An electrifying concert

Clique_1From beginning to end , this concert was just so electrifying that it radiated in your whole body and made me want to groove some more … that was the CLIQUE Concert: “Someday” held last November 14 at the Korean Cultural Centre, Toronto.

These five girls: Breanna Ticsay, Keesha Cerezo, Keana Cerezo, Jam Lazaro and Vianne Alexa entertained their packed audience with their powerful musical numbers, such as “Salute,” “Fight Song,” “Boy,” “Going Nowhere” to name a few, and two original songs “Without You” composed by Mark Crescini and their carrier single “Someday” which was written and composed by notable hit makers , Troy Samson and Kelly Rowland.

The girls also did solo numbers, proving to their raving audience that each could also stand as a solo artist. This is what the founder, Ms. Josie de Leon and husband Mr. Mark Crescini of JDL Performing Arts reiterated during their short thank you message. These five girls enrolled at the school, individually, and they were formed and developed further as a group, which is obviously a good decision made, as these girls, with their combined vocal prowess and dance grooves, are a definitely a group to watch.

Clique_3Aside from CLIQUE , other notable performers that have equally delivered beautiful numbers that night were the Adrenalin Dancers, Cheryl Malanum, Luka, Melissa Manaig , Katherine and Lexie, and Shairah.

This concert was a product of long hours of preparation as per Mabel Cerezo , who said that all the CLIQUE parents were involved from planning, preparation to execution .
This big production was directed by Miss Belinda Reyes with Mr. Alex Reyes as the Musical Director .

“These girls are amazing!” as Dee Chatel shared on her Facebook account and many agreed.

So what is next for CLIQUE? I heard another possible concert in Niagara.

Whatever it is, I am at 101 % support for these talented girls.

— T. Reyes
