Pinay honor student crowned Miss Supranational Canada 2022

Filipina-Canadian, Alexa Marie Grant

The 21 year old Filipina Scottish-Canadian was crowned among 50 competitors during the Miss World Canada national pageant on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Richmond Hill, Ontario.

The Miss World Canada pageant is held annually to select Canada’s representatives for 5 major international competitions: Miss World Canada, Miss Supranational, Miss Earth, Miss Intercontinental and Miss Grand International.

Alexa Marie Grant, is an honor student at the Schulich School of Business and will be representing Canada for Miss Supranational in Poland in Summer 2023. Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International business, Alexa has centered her professional background on her advocacy for sustainability. She has founded “Beyond Our Now”, a youth-led initiative promoting environmental, social and economic sustainanbility, while empowering youth. She is an Ambassador for several organizations including One Tree Planted and ANCOP, and a leader within local youth communities.

Alexa won the Miss Teen Philippines Canada 2018 and Binibining Ipen Canada 2022. She has been the recipient of multiple awards both in academic and extracurricular activities.

Along with Alexa are the winners, Emma Morrison as Miss World Canada, Layanna Robinson as Miss Earth Canada, Patricia Seward as Miss Intercontinental and Yuliya Scherban as Miss Grand International.
