PPCO raffles Miss Saigon tickets

The Philippine Press Club-Ontario raffled two good-seat tickets for the August 1, 2010 performance of Miss Saigon, courtesy of Dancap Productions.

The two winning entries were drawn on the main stage of the Mabuhay Festival held July 124 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, around 8 p.m.The winners are: Jennifer Dorocher and Myrna Longanilla. Both have been informed and one has already claimed the prize.

Visitors to the PPCO booth which had a display of some of the Toronto-based newspapers were offered the chance to win the tickets by simply writing their names and phone-numbers on a piece of paper which they dropped onto a box.

The raffle generated excitement from Mabuhay Festival visitors interested in the musical production which features Filipino-Canadian Ma-Anne Dionisio in the lead role of Kim. A lot of people visited the three-table PPCO booth, said Paul de la Cruz, PPCO President, as he reported the names of the winners to the PPCO members.
