The Filipino community in Niagara opens its doors once again for an event that brings together entrepreneurs and overseas Filipino workers. The event entitled Niagara Fall Show’s “KABUHAYANG PINOY” will be held at St Catharines, Niagara Region on Oct. 16, 2010, Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Admission is free to the public.
Sponsored by ABS-CBN, Western Union and I-Remit, the “Kabuhayang Pinoy” event is a gathering of mostly Filipino entrepreneurs who wish to introduce or sell their products and services to the community in Niagara. The event promises great fun, entertainment, income opportunities, and shopping. Filipino entrepreneurs who has unique items to sell are encouraged to join the event.
“Kabuhayang Pinoy” will also serve as the official launching of a caregivers’ association. Some officers from the Philippine Labor Office, community leaders from various parts of the region and advocates of the Live-In-caregiver Program will also be present. Adding spice to the occasion will be a series of entertainment numbers from our local artists along with a fashion show by the candidates of Miss Caregiver 2010.
