NBD & Associates holds Christmas dinner dance

NBD & Associates, a brokering agent referring clienteles to mortgage, business and personal loans companies or contacts, immigration, legal-paralegal services, accounting and taxation, social event promotion and sound system (DJ) services, and event food catering services, held its yearly Christmas party last December 18 at Bayview Hill Community Centre in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

The Christmas party was provided with live music by VBeyond Expression and Sound Wave Masters DJ.
The band, a newly rising group of Filipino-Canadian musicians, performs in different social functions and clubs in Metro Toronto.

Mel Catre, a known Filipino-Canadian community leader in the GTA since the early 70s, was the guest speaker. Mr. Catre is the current Co-chair of the Community Alliance for Social Justice, an advocacy group of organizations and individuals.

A plaque was given to Mrs. Francisca D. Guillermo by Philippine Ambassador to Canada Francisco Benedicto for having exemplified herself as a model mother to her siblings during her difficutl times as a widow.

NBD & ASSOCIATES is headed by Nilo Benitez-Dolap, executive organizer of the 2000 Annual Christmas Celebration. Dolap organizes social events in coordination with different business groups who want to promote their services and products. Last year’s Christmas party was coordinated by Dolap and participated in by Messrs. Felix Fullante and Paul Valherio of Chrysoberyl Food Products Ltd., and Freddie Toledo of VBeyond Expression Band.
