Surban concert – with conscience and heart
TORONTO–The father and daughter team of Camilo and Jo Olaer, the producers of the Max Surban with the Vis-Dak Band Dinner Concert this coming June 19 (Sunday), 4:00 P.M. at the Saints Peter and Paul Banquet Hall located at 231 Milner Avenue, Scarborough, described the show as an entertainment with a conscience and a heart.
The dinner concert will also serve as a multiple event from Father’s Day celebration to the Philippine national hero’s birthday, Dr. Jose Rizal. This is the opportunity for all audiences, young or old to see Max Surban in person showcase his famous “Baleleng” and showcase his other talents.
The Olaer’s said the performers will share portion of their earnings to help the parents of the children who passed away in Mabini, Bohol because of food poisoning from an accidental tragedy. The campaign is being spearheaded by Fr. Vic Valles who is also from Mabini, Bohol.
The event is well-supported by natives of Visayas and Mindanao who have now resettled in the province of Ontario.
