‘Pablo’ damage: P900-M for roads
MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Public Works and Highways on Wednesday said Typhoon “Pablo” destroyed an estimated P900 million in national structures, particularly roads in the Southern Philippines.
DPWH Secretary Rogelio Singson said the figure does not include schools and hospitals in the calamity-hit areas.
He said the agency’s biggest concern is the destruction of a concrete bridge in Baganga, Davao Oriental, which connects the town to Mati.
