Winner of the Golden Zenith Award at this year’s Montreal World Film Festival, this funny and poignant film features an enchanting performance from young newcomer Nathan Lopez as Maxi.
Theatre artist, filmmaker and Indigenous-rights activist Kanakan Balintagos’ experimental film Basal Banar won an honourable mention at the 2004 imagineNATIVE festival.
