Sto. Niño Fiesta in Kingston

Kingston celebrated its Sto. Niño fiesta thru the visions and initiative of Chris Viquiera and family thru Fr. Al Alilio’s encouragement, and overwhelming support from the Filipino community. A well attended mas at St. Joseph’s Church reunited Filipinos and friends in devotions to the Holy Child. Young and old paraded various holy images of Sto. Niño amongst the traditional, Dela Suerte, De Pulubi, Nakaupo sa Mundo, Prosperous and Prague.

Sto. Niño fiesta is celebrated all over the Philippines during the third Sunday of January, undoubtedly the most celebrated feast in the country. Fr. Alilio began the missal celebration by reciting the history of the Holy Child. Holy images were placed in front of the altar during he mass celebration.

Hermano/Hermana Mr. and Mrs. Chris Viquiera and family would like to thank Fr. Al Alilio for his role in making the celebration possible, every single Filipino and friends in Kingston and of all Sto. Niño, our beloved.
