Chito Sarabia, one of the most popular Filipino folksingers in North America, will take center stage in the enterainment portion of “PARA SA PRESS” project for the benefit of the Philippine Press Club-Ontario scheduled on May 6 (Friday), 6:30 p.m. at the Philippine Center – Ontario, 2525 Warden Ave., Scarborough.
Sarabia is a very versatile singer and musician. He can switch songs like jazz and other standard music, classic rock and R&B. He plays acoustic guitar, electric guitar and can read musical notes.
He will be supported by a group of talented musicians like Mon Torralba, the original member of the famous HODTDOG who will at the same time direct the show. Nato Buzon, bass; and Jun Vidal, percussion.
The entertainment portion of the PARA SA PRESS is described as the “Music Through The Headlines.”
Other singers who will showcase their singing talents are Tristan and Jazztin Torralba, Arniel Sagcal, Mara Gana, and the youngest is Candace Santos.
Gana has been in the musical world for 10 years; Santos is also a music teacher, the Torralba brothers have musical blood coming from their father, Mon. The show is produced by Philippine Variety Production.
