Irigueños Sa Di Canada calendar for 2006

After the successful global reunion of the natives of Iriga City, Camarines Sur, here in Toronto last year, Iriguenos Sa’ Di Canada headed by Pablo V. Filio III, the association’s chairperson, has laid down a long-range activites for this year.

A general membership meeting was held last April 8 (Saturday) at the Goulding Community Centre in Toronto.

The officers and board of directors of the Iriguenos Sa’ Di Canada is appealing to all Iriguenos throughout Canada to get in touch with the chairman and other officers of the association for their participation in the groups’different activities:

• April 30, 2006 – Basketball game between the Iriguenos versus Nabua;

• May 13, 2006 and May 20, 2006, – Basketball games.

• June 6 to June13, 2006, St. Anthony of Padua Novena;

• June 10, 2006, Fiesta Sa Iriga Circa 60’s-70’s at the Parish Hall of the Canadian Martyr Church, 522 Plains Road;

• June 17, 2006, Fiesta picnic at Park, G. Rose Lord Park;

• June 30 to July 3, 2006, Group Camping (Canada Day), long week end, Presqui’le Provincial Park Camping;

• August 18, 2006, Novena of Our Lady of Penafrancia, 7:00 P.M.. spnsored by Iriguenos Sa’Di Canada, Anunciation Church;

• September, 2006, still being discussed in conjunction with the trip to Casino Rama. The date will be announced later on;

• December 2, 2006, “Pasko Na Naman,” dinner-dance, St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonia Social Hall, 78 Overlea Blvd., East York.
