Negrense’s Masskara festival, induction
ASOCIACION NEGRENSE welcomes all former residents of Negros Occidental, friends, and guests to its 2006 Masskara Festival and Induction of new set of officers on June 17, 2006 at Larry Taylor Auditorium in Mississauga, Ontario. The guest speaker and inducting officer is Consul General Alejandro Mosquera.
The officers to be inducted are as follows: Richard Flora,President; Nancy Salken, Executive Vice-President; Nelly Ong, Vice-President for Finance; Daniel Cajurao, Vice-President for Communications; Sam Morales, VP for Policy & Organization; Leonisa Aliko, VP for Membership; Nanette Britanico, Secretary; Mila Cumbalon, Treasurer; Lorie Bajala, Auditor.
To take oath as members of the board of directors are Shirley Acosta, Carlos Cumbalon, Leo Duarte, Edwin Nene, Edna Pahilanga, Lucy Villarosa, and Norditha Ronquillo.
Meanwhile, Flora has announcef his appointed chairpersons of various working committees: Socials and Fellowship–Nydia Nene and Tessie Lagtapon; Membership Information and Education–Myrna Villanueva and Josphine Magdaluyo; Ways and Means–Nadje Magsumbol and Lily Mae Diaz; Organizational Outreach–Edwin Mercurio and Efren Nene; Community Outreach–Elma Saludares and Florence Bersamin; and Transport and Mobilization–Elrita Huynh and Nene Castillo.
The advisers are immediate past president Henry Tad-y, past presidents Merlinda Parreño-Rustia, Rufo Rivera, and Tote Quezan.
