Comic Ron Josol starts nationwide tour at John Basset Theatre Oct. 14

TORONTO –Stand-Up Comic Ron Josol starts his nationwide A-List Comedy Tour with an expected capacity crowd at the John Basset Theater-Toronto October 14, 2006.

Josol, a Fil-Canadian whose roots were traced in Bohol, showcases his natural comic skills with the funniest comedians that include Montreal’s Famous Just for Laughs Festival’s Sugar Sammy (who headlined for comedian Dave Chappelle), CTV’s Comedy Now’s Paul Bae, and Jeffrey Yu (from Vancouver).

The Tour is hosted by MTV’s Gilson Lubin of Yuk Yuk’s fame. Gibson also front act for Dave Chappelle stand-up comic show.

Ron Josol zoomed to prominence in T.O.’s gig bars several years ago and could be viewed Monday nights on Much Music’s Video on Trial. He also previously hosted the FLIP TV show and a featured Comic on CTV’s Comedy Now Special.

Other Ron’s achievements include regular gigs in Hawaii-California-US comic bars and concerts; Yuk Yuk’s comic show among others.
