Peace and Music with Lei Garcia

An international peacemaker, singer, songwriter and an accomplished artist, Lei Garcia is a former director of Partnerships and Ecumenical Relations of the United Church of Christ Philippines.

Lei is the current executive director of the Church Office for International Network in the Philippines, or CONTAK Philippines and a member of Concerned Artists of the Philippines (CAP). she has participated in international concerts around the world. Lei has worked intensively with Christian youth movements and with other peace and justice movements.

The concert will be on Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 280 Simcoe St. (A block west of University Avenue North of Dundas), The Party Room. Doors open at 6PM and the concert starts at 7PM. Entrance is $10.00 (seats are limited)

The event is organized by The Philippine Network for Justice and Peace and the Philippine-Canada Task force on Human Rights.
