Arellano High ‘57 Golden Reunion
Arellano High ‘57 Golden Reunion
The Arellano (Public) High School Class 1957 will celebrate its Golden Jubilee in February 2007 in Manila. The U.S.-Canada group of Class ‘57 is in full gear preparing for their Golden Jubilee.
Arellano (Public) High School is the former Manila North High School of the pre-World War II era. It is located on Teodora Alonzo Street in Santa Cruz, Manila. The graduating class of 1957 had 1500 students. The jubilarians’ intended legacy to their Alma Mater is a new stage in the inner court.
The weeklong celebration for Class ’57 will start on January 28, 2007, with a dinner party at the Canyon Woods Resort in Tagaytay, to be hosted by Herman and Lita Gamboa. Lita Eugenio-Gamboa is the President of the Class ‘57 Alumni Association. The other activities planned for the week are an excursion to Villa Escudero in Tiaong, Quezon and a city tour of Binondo, Manila.
The celebration will culminate with a general homecoming dinner at the New World Hotel in Makati on February 4. The Most Distinguished Alumnus and the Most Outstanding Golden Jubilarian will be announced at the grand reunion. Certificates of Recognition will be awarded as well.
Erlinda Waddell-Taylor and Lucille Po-Deniega, coordinators for the U.S.-Canada Group, are in continuous search for Class ’57 members in the United States and Canada, so that no alumni will miss this once- in-a-lifetime golden event.
