The celebration of Filipino Heritage Month also provides the opportunity for Filipino Canadians, Torontonians, Ontarians, and mainstream Canadians to learn, celebrate, enjoy, and experience the rich heritage and histories of the Filipino Canadian community. It is also an opportunity to highlight the vibrant Philippine heritage among the consciousness of and continue to maintain the link of young generations of Filipino Canadians with the Philippines.
