PCCT holds 2nd trade show
With more than 30 exhibitors displaying their wares at the Alex Manoogian Centre on Progress Rd., Scarborough, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce-Toronto launched its 2nd Annual Trade Show on Sunday, June 27, in a fiesta-like atmosphere.
With hundreds of people attending the event, the PCCT trade show proved to be a crowd drawer. The exhibitors gave away raffle prizes every half hour ranging from cosmetics, native bags, to round trip air tickets to Florida, courtesy of Rejoice Travel. Mabini Express gave away a dozen free remittances to the Philippines while APO Products threw in samples of its food items.
Food samples like pansit, bibingka, puto and chicharon were available at the Mekeni Foods and Barrio Fiesta booths. Samples of kakanin (snacks) were given out at the FV Foods booth.
Filtered water was available for free at Pure Crystal Water booth and the Water Safety Services of Canada booth while PiMag water flowed freely from the Nikken Aqua Pour at the booth of TowneCraft cookware.
Network marketing distributors of Lexxus International, Forever Living and Symmetry had their hey day prospecting and giving out brochures and flyers.
