Fund raising for Milaor typhoon victims
TORONTO–Project Milaor was formed recently by a group of Filipinos headed by former Milaor Mayor Rogelio Flores at St. Jamestown in order to solicit used clothes and can goods to be distributed to the residents of the different barangays in the town of Milaor in the province of Camarines Sur whose houses were destroyed and devastated by Typhoon Dindo last May 16 abnd May 17 this year.
According to Flores, during typhoons and rainy days the town has been always flooded because it is a basin and closed to the Bicol River.
The project director is Romeo A. Zetazate, one of the founders of Club Filipino of Saint Jamestown. He is being assisted by Marcelo Dioquino and Henry Ramos.
