FRIENDS, families and followers of Simbang Gabi are cordially invited to join the Philippine Catholic community of Vaughan and the parishioners of the Immaculate Conception Church as they celebrate this cherished Filipino tradition starting December 16, 2004 at every 5:30 in the moning.
Simbang Gabi, a Christmas Novena, is a Philippine tradition of celebrating Advent masses to heighten the preparation for the celebration of the birth of the Saviour, Jesus Christ. Traditionally held at dawn, Simbang Gabi lasts for nine consecutive days and will end on the December 24. Coffee and snacks will be served after the masses.
Immaculate Conception Church is located at 300 Ansley Grove, Woodbridge. It is about 2 blocks west of Weston Rd. and about 3 blocks north of Highway 7.
