MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE 1) – Some celebrities have succeeded in conquering the world of politics, but others were not as lucky.

Re-electionist Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos appears to be winning as she consistently leads over her political rivals. Same fate seems to await re-electionist Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., who ranked No. 1 in the latest partial official results.
