Headlining the Mabuhay Festival and Trade Show are the GMA Kapuso Stars!!! Sit back, watch and be entertained or participate in the talent and game show and win fabulous prizes!

The venue has changed from the South Building Hall D to the North Building Hall A & B, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, 255 Front St. West. The venue has over 125,000 sq ft of space with plenty of room for everyone and for exhibitions. As usual, we will have the GMA Kapuso artists who will present a variety show, a Game Show with Deo Moreno and GMA artists. Participants will be selected June 19th at the Earl Bales Park community picnic. Not to be outdone, the Talent Show will be auditioning for participants. Can you sing, dance or juggle spears? Are you a comedian or actor? Show us your talent and become one of the ten finalists at the festival’s Most Talented Showcase. Judging you will be GMA’s star maker – Kuya Germs. Katrina Halili – The much awaited Katrina was an alumna of StarStruck, she was voted FHM’s sexiest woman of the year in 2006 and 2007.

German Moreno – Affectionately known as “Kuya Germs”, German Moreno has been a staple of the entertainment industry for over 47 years. The “Master Showman” will be bringing his legendary persona to Canada along with other young GMA Stars at this year’s festival.

Mark Herras was a StarStruck phenom where he honed his dancing talent earning him a nickname of “Bad Boy of the Dance Floor”. His dancing moves earned him more votes than Rainier Castillo winning him the crown at the 1st Ultimate Star Struck Survivor of Season One.

Wendell Ramos started his career when he was cast in “Bubble Gang’. From that beginning, he went into “matinee idol” status and finally into “leading man” roles in GMA shows Sinasamba Kita, La Vendetta and many more. He is also a balladeer.

John Nite – is currently co-hosting with Kuya Germs in Walang Tulugan, Mastershowman. He is an accomplished actor and tv host and very much in demand for product launchings, beauty pageants, conventions and more.

Not to be outdone, leading the pack with our local talents are Culture Philippines Ontario, Fiesta Filipina Dance Troupe, a revival of Tuklas sponsored by Norma Carpio, the Champions lead by Emil Zarris, Santa Cruzan and many many more.

Food for the soul reminiscent of home and typical at fiestas, delectable Filipino cuisine, desserts, halo-halo, suman, puto.
