FilCREA officers inducted

On May 21, 2005, the newly elected founding directors and executive officers of the Filipino Canadian Real Estate Association celebrated a historic event at the posh Westin Prince Hotel in Don Mills.

Inducted into office by Consul General Alejandro Mosquera, the 16 directors swore to uphold their positions of responsibility to the 250 or so guests witnessing the swearing in.

The gala night was simply outstanding!! But then again, anything less was second best!

Looking elegant and dressed in strictly formal attire, the directors included the following: Jon Amante of Remax Realtron, Tony Arroyo of HomeLife Cimerman, Clemente Cabillan of Remax Realty Specialists, Ramon Cezar of Remax Executive, Jess Cubos of HomeLife Cimerman, Benny Jose of Remax Executive, Arsenio Malvar of Remax Executive, Jose Nolasco of HomeLife Cimerman, Tina Le Ramos of Remax, Executive, Willie Reodica of Remax Goldenway, Larry Bercasio of Remax Rouge River, Mary Ann Morales of Remax West, Virginia Tigas of Remax Ultimate, Emily Sy of HomeLife Bayview, Mary Jane Viejo of Remax Realtron, and Rubi Talavera of Remax West.

Executive officers Benny Jose, President, Clemente Cabillan, 1st Vice President, Jon Amante, 2nd Vice President, Rubi Talavera, 3rd Vice President, Jess Cubos, 4th Vice President, Virginia Tigas, Secretary, and Jose Nolasco, Treasurer, were close behind the trails of their special guests, Cynthia Lai, Consul General Mosquera and Member of Parliament, Jim Karygiannis.

Everyone who wore the yellow corsages were working members of the Gala Night Committee and hardworking Chairman Larry Bercasio made sure each guest was escorted and greeted professionally.
It was truly an affair to remember. An example of how competition could be healthy — if people worked towards the same goal!
