OBITUARY: Tim Martin (February 11, 1964 – May 17, 2012)
Tim studied at Philippine Military Academy hoping to follow in the footsteps of his father who was a military official. His father passed away in 1971 when he was only 7 years old. He came to Canada in 1984 along with his brother Nelson and sister Rachel to join their mother Juanita.
He took the Pharmacy Technician course, but his passion was always to work with aircrafts.
Tim met his wife, Carol Joy in high school while they were both working casual in Canadian (Fairfax) Printing Company. They tied the knot on May 23, 1992 after more than 6 years of dating. He was a proud and loving father to his two children, Arianne Tiffany and Aaron Timothy.
He was a wonderful son-in-law and brother-in-law, and a true friend.
He enjoyed mountain biking, camping, canoeing, skiing, scuba diving and sky diving.
Tim found a new passion in playing golf. He also loved gardening and received an award in 2011 for the Best Front Lawn Garden in the neighborhood.
He was proud to complete building his tool shed this year with the help of his brother-in-law Jone.
He had a great sense of humor and always had a smile on his face.
He was a conscientious and hard working person. He loved his family more than anything in the world.
He will be deeply missed. Rest in Peace Tim.
