PCCF upbeat for 2013

PCCF upbeat for 2013

Romy Rafael, PCCF President

TORONTO– Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF) officers  are very much upbeat about the upcoming events for 2013.

To start the year long event, PCCF will hold the pageants that  are dubbed as “the biggest  and the best”, the biggest because thousands upon thousands of people will watch them  as they strut through the huge stage of Metro Toronto Convention Center during the much awaited Pinoy Fiesta and Trade Show on June 22, 2012. The best because of the fabulous prizes that await them that include a trip to the Philippines and a  special guest in Canada’s Omni2 TV channel and on  shows  of the number one TV Network in the Philippines , the GMA Channel  7 in the Philippines. What else makes them the best?  The winner of Miss Philippines Canada will be crowned by one of the hottest leading ladies in Philippine TV. Last 2011, Ms. Carla Abellana crowned  Rachel Pantaleon, for 2012. Alev Usta was crowned by superstar Marianne Rivera.  Who will  crown Miss Philippines 2013? Wait for more exciting announcements to come.

What makes the PCCF Miss Philippines Canada, Little Miss Philippines Canada and Mrs. Philippines Canada pageants special is that everyone is a winner, most especially the needy in the Philippines, who are the beneficiaries of the proceeds of the PCCF events.  To name a few, PCCF so far  donated $18,000 to ANCOP to build houses for the poor, $4,500 to Kapuso Foundation,  $3,500 to build the fence at OLA, the home of the Filipino Mission (AFCM). Thousands were already donated to typhoon victims. More donations will of course be donated to the poor and the needy in the months to come.

“The biggest event of the summer 2013”, as declared by PCCF President, Romy Rafael and PCCT President, Oswald Tugadi. PCCF  (Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation)  and PCCT  (Philippine Chamber of Commerce Toronto)  will once again team up to produce the spectacle and  the much awaited event of the summer,  the Pinoy Fiesta and Trade Show Toronto that will be held on the 22nd of June at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre with the GMA Pinoy TV Superstars on stage.
