What followed are small revolts that culminated in the revolution led by Andres Bonifacio triggered by the martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal. The tableau will end with the proclamation of independence by Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo in Kawit Cavite which heralded the birth of the Filipino Nation.
The tableau is sponsored by the Silayan Community Centre headed by Ms. Nora Dabu Taculad and funded by the New Horizons for Seniors Program under the “Seniors working for seniors project”. Project coordinator is Mr. Hernani de Leon.
