PATAC Paskuhan concert for Haiyan survivors
PHILIPPINE Advancement Through Arts and Culture (PATAC) presented a concert Paskong Handog 2013: Paglingap at Pagbangon to benefit the communities devastated in the Philippines by the recent typhoon and quake. The event was held Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 at the Cummer Avenue United Church.
The show highlighted a variety of art forms – piano performances, poetry, vocal solo numbers, martial arts in musical form, Filipino dance, Cordillera native dancing, community singing, band and vocal performance, interspersed with messages of solidarity from supporters.
Performers included the PIDC Ambassadors of Goodwill. Including Charlene Dorland, Miss Philippines PIDC 2013 delegate, and Cheryl Hailey Malanum, Little Miss Philippines PIDC 2013; Britnney Waita, Little Miss Philippines PIDC 2013; Ethan Rayne M. Harvey; iWWorkers; Binnadang-Migrante Performers; MATINEB Cordillera Performance Group; Patac Children Performers; Southeast Cartel; Suit and Ties; A. J. Recana; Mary Joie Agustin; Tommy Gesell; Broken Bamboo Dance Group; Panday Sining; Belinda Corpuz, Malcolm Connor & Sam Gleason; and the musical couple Chyrell Samson and Rodney Ronquillo. Other soloists were Isabella Corpuz; Cresny Lorenzo, Angelica Dancel.
