They say life begins at 40! I say life begins every day. In this journey of life, the challenges we face, life’s ups and downs, life is not about the trophies or the accolades we receive or how fat our bank balances are, but to me it is about how we make a difference in this world.
As I celebrate my 60 years in this wondrous world, I thank God for He has showered much my way and I never cease to be amazed at what an exciting world we live in and how beauty abounds and surrounds us.

More friends, colleagues, family and team members in Megaworld dropped by to offer their best wishes.
The biggest surprise of my life was the party thrown by my 5 beautiful daughters Inez, Mia, Katrina, Pamela and Carla in cahoots with my husband Emerson and my Megaworld family specially Chari at a party room in Mississauga. On the pretext that I was supposed to present to a group of Italian investors, my husband and I drove to Mississauga only to be greeted by family, friends and co-workers for a surprise birthday bash!
The evening turned out to be a most memorable time with my daughters, my team members in Megaworld, my brother giving away my secrets, Nelia Tonido of the Philippine Artists Group giving her spiel, cousins Angging Martin and Ruben Abucay making some praise releases, old friend Bettie de Jesus and of course my hubby Emerson showing the world his love. It was a night of love, of happy memories, a celebration of this beautiful life!
My daughters prepared a video of my life, my milestones and greetings from my mom, my sisters family in Sydney, my friends, my family in Iloilo, my Auntie Baby, my nieces and nephews in Manila, cousins in Arizona, cousin in Tarlac, and surprise greetings from actors Zanjo Marudo, and several other actors and actresses surely a nice surprise from Ruby Ruiz! What a beautiful, fun and funny video that I will cherish for years and years! Also remembered were people who passed on but were important players in my life like my Papa, my sister Aye, my best friends Patty Bueno and Vilma Flores and Fred Ruiz. I wanted to shed buckets full of tears for all these memories but my heart felt the outpouring of love. Thank you to the One up above for giving me this most meaningful life. Thank you my daughters for making me the proudest Mom. Thank you Emerson for being there for me. Thank you God for all that I am and all that we are!
Life is the biggest treat, it brings out the child in us! Happy Easter!
