Ilocano Association dinner dance

It’s dinner-dance for the officers, members, and guests of the Ilocano Association of Ontario (IAO) on Oct. 14 (Saturday), 6:30 p.m., at the Garnet A. Williams Community Centre, 501 Clark Avenue, Thornhill, Ontario (East of Bathurst St. and West of Hilda between Bathurst and Yonge.

Rosalino Paat, IAO president, is inviting all Ilocanos from Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Cagayan, Isabela, Abra, Pangasinan, Nueva Vizcaya, Ifugao, Nueva Ecija, and other parts of the Philippines to attend the affair in order to develop stronger and closer ties.

Aside from Paat, the other officers of the Ilocano Association of Ontario (IAO) are Teresita Talon, vice president; Mary Bacod, secretary; Florie Salvatiera, Cecelia Lagrimas, assistant secretaries; Susan Arocena, treasurer; Pura Mamaril, assistant treasurer; Francis Jose, auditor; Violeta Vilan, assistant auditor; Erlinda dinglasan, Melinda Estelong, and Joan Espacio, public relations officers; Chris Arocena, Lyn Dorland, and Linda Evangelista, business managers; Jun Talon, peace officer.

Board of directors include Ruben Rey Peralta, chairman; Carding Bacod, Reggie Saliganan, Jon Escobar, Abe Martin, Joe Mamaril, Joe Damasco and Fernando Ambre, members.
