The artwork of Francesca Esguerra – paintings and sketches in varied media — were exhibited in Art in the Hub, along with those of other women artists, last Nov. 19, 2015 at the Riverdale Hub, Toronto
The event was a fundraiser for the Riverdale Immigrant Women’s Centre (RIWC) to empower immigrant women through the art. It was hosted by a group of corporate communications and public relations students from Centennial College.
The early evening art show showcased transformative art and musical performances by young talents. All funds raised were donated to RIWC to help empower immigrant women through different initiatives in the local Riverdale community.
The lively event was well attended by fellow artists, women’s rights activists, students and members of the Riverdale community, and family and friends who came from all over the Greater Toronto Area.
