K of R to mark Rizal’s martyrdom

TORONTO–The Knights of Rizal Canada Region headed by Sir Ed C. Prillo, KGOR, and Sir Romy Sinajon, KGOR, regional commander and deputy regional commander respectively, is now reminding the different  Rizal commanders to kindly strengthen and give emphasis on the  preparation of the forthcoming 121st celebration of the martyrdom and death anniversary of the Philippine national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal.

The senior advisers are giving their all-out support to all the events of the Canada Region of the Knights of  Rizal. They are Sir George R.;  Poblete, KGCR, Sir Lapulapu Caña, KGCR; Sir Jaime T. Marasigan, KGOR; and Dr. Tom Virey, KGOR.

Every year on December 30, Filipinos throughout the world  remember and commemorate the nationalism of Dr. Jose P. Rizal who was executed by a firing squad In Bagumbayan which is now known as Rizal Park in Manila.

This year the Knights of Rizal Etobicoke Chapter headed by Sir Elmer Manzo, KCR, will be the host chapter in line with the celebration of the martyrdom of Dr. Jose P. Rizal. who will be getting supports from the different Rizal chapters in Canada, the Kababaihang Rizalista, Ladies of Rizal, Aspiration of  Rizal, and the youth of Arm of Rizal.

The event will be held at the Earl Bales Park, North York. infront of the statue of Dr. Jose P. Rizal. Filipinos are invited  to participate in thid historical event.
