Pomposa De Veyra Musca (September 19, 1917 – July 21, 2018)
Beloved widow of Rosendo Musca and matriarch of the De Veyra clan, passed away peacefully at her ancestral residence in Tanauan, Leyte, Philippines, surrounded by her loving family.
Survived by her immediate family of 10 children (Reynaldo, Raul, Lourdes, Rolando, Leah, Loreta, Rodolfo, Asuncion, Lilia and Sheray) and their families, including 21 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren; and the rest of the De Veyra clan of 26 nephews and nieces — children of her six siblings she had outlived (Pacita Balagapo, Prima Astorga, Vicente de Veyra, Jr., Lucrecia Querubin, Jesus de Veyra and Salvadora Enage) – and their families, including several dozens of grandnephews and nieces, and great grandnephews and nieces, residing in the Philippines, United States, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates.
Her body lies in state at the ancestral residence.
