An annual talent showcase hosted and performed by Filipino Student Associationsacross Canada

TORONTO–The Filipino Canadian Student Association, best known as FILCASA, is pleased to invite you to our 28th annual talent showcase titled Superskillz 2020: Bagong Kabanata | New Chapter.

The show will be held on Saturday, March 7th, 2020 from 6:00pm-9:00pm, at Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts, located in the heart of Yonge and Sheppard (36 Greenfield Avenue, North York ON, M2N 3C8.) This venue is recognized as one of the most distinguished secondary schools in Toronto and has trained various notable artists, including actors seen on Degrassi: The Next Generation.

The theme for Superskillz 2020 is “Bagong Kabanata” or “New Chapter”. As we ring in the new year, this theme was selected to highlight the notion of searching for new challenges and new adventures to kick off our decade on the right note. Superskillz strives to intertwine both our Filipino and North American cultures together, promoting the dynamic of both cultures while staying true to our roots.

We’re proud to have this show headlined by award-winning comedy female ensemble, the Tita Collective. This event will also be hosted by the talented duo of FilipinoTV, and the co-founders of FilCan Creative, “Markie” Mark Koh and Patrick “Pjay” Dooc. Join us and witness performances from students in post-secondary institutions across Canada to celebrate and appreciate the talents and skills of various Filipino Student Associations that have developed and grown over the years!
