After a two-year hiatus, the Philippine Artists Group of Canada finally held their exhibition on June 4, 2022, in celebration of Philippine Independence Day, at the Neilson Park Creative Centre in Etobicoke. Titled “Resurgence”, the show features the works of 16 artists: Rolly Abarilla, Teody Asuncion, Joyce Bondoc, Frank A. Cruzet, Christienne Cuevas, Jhun Ciolo Diamante, Peter Duarte, Gene Lopos, Romi MananQuil, Rose Marie Nagallo, Nerissa Pineda, Calixto Quiachon, Michelle Chermaine Ramos, Frank Tonido, Nelia Tonido and guest artist Earl Francis Dacara.

Long-time PAG friend and supporter Livvy Camacho emceed the reception and ribbon cutting ceremony with special guests Rosemer Enverga of the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation and Dr. Romeo Sinajon, Regional Commander of the Knights of Rizal. PPCO President Rose Tijam also shared her remarks as a guest speaker.

The exhibition, which runs until June 19, 2022, features one of the largest collections of PAG artwork displayed to date, some of which were created during the lockdown, as well as some pieces of Philippine history never exhibited before including a print of a drawing designed for legal tender by PAG Founder Maestro Romi MananQuil. The event was a well-attended, long-overdue reunion with friends, family, and the community celebrating Filipino-Canadian fine arts with lots of smiles and live music.
