Military expenses: For disaster relief?
Military expenses: For disaster relief?

Be Honest
Malacanang has announced the four areas where the Americans were allowed access in local bases. Three are in the north facing the dangerous Bashi Channel, near Taiwan and one in southern Palawan guarding the entrance to the international trade routes from South China Sea to the Pacific through the Sulu Sea and south of Cebu and Samar.
Defense Undersecretary Carlito Galvez said these are strategic locations to help in the defense of the country but he did not mention the US goal was to preposition air force, army and navy assets, equipment and personnel near Taiwan where tension is high because of China’s threat to invade the self-ruled island.
Instead, Galvez said the purpose was HADR – humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
It’s hard to believe when he talked about collective security, deterrent, sea lanes of communications and strategic locations and then this is all for typhoons, earthquakes and other disasters.
Well I believe him now. When a war breaks out in Taiwan, there will be unproportional humanitarian crisis not only in the Philippines but in the region
Government must not gloss over their statement. Sabihin na ang totoo, Naghahanda na sa gera ang mga Kano kaya nga pinahawak na ng Javelin anti-tank missiles, HIMARS and Patriot missiles ang mga Noyping kawal.
Huwag na tayong maghilaan ng paa
