Catalina Santos-Dakudao passes away

With profound sadness, the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto wishes to inform the Filipino-Canadian community of the untimely demise on Dec. 12, 2004 in London, United Kingdom, of Ms. Catalina Santos Dakudao, former Director and Tourism Representative, Department of Tourism Office in Toronto.

Ms. Dakudao opened the Philippine Tourism Office in Toronto in February 2003 where she served as Director and Tourism Representative until March 2004. She was transferred to the Philippine Tourism Office in London, United Kingdom in March 2004. Prior to her Canada posting, she was the Tourism Attache in New York, U.S.A..

The Philippine Tourism Office in Toronto will hold a Requiem Mass for Ms. Dakudao on Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, 4:00 p.m., at St. Basil’s Church (located at 50 St. Joseph St., corner of Bay Street).
