‘Pista sa Tundo’ 2005

TORONTO–It is that time of the year again for the Torres High School Alumni (International) to hold their signature summer social event “Pista Sa Tundo” this time on June 25, 2005.

The “PISTA” will be held at Malvern Community Centre in Scarborough.

Torresians from all over Canada will be joined by others from the mid and eastern United States as well as from California and the Philippines. For most, this will serve as a mini-reunion with long lost and nearly forgotten former classmates.

The $25 ticket assures everybody of a fun filled Saturday night of dancing and carousing to the scintillating music of Ron Carpio’s “Florence Sound”. The night will be happily interrupted by the many raffles of prizes capped by a TV/VCR and other valuable household items.

The suggested attire is the Barong Tagalog and Filipina terno.

The affair will raise funds for Torres High School.
