‘Road to Asia 2005’
A two-day festival on November 5 and 6 entitled “Road to Asia” is being organized by the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre (JCCC).
The Philippine Consulate General, along with other (10) Asian countries sponsored by the JCCC will participate in the 5th year celebration of Road to Asia Festival 2005.
The Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto Area is a non-profil organization which has been promoting multiculturalism in the GTA for more than 40 years now.
The festival aims to promote cross-cultural dialogue and understanding through artistic expression by showcasing live performances, arts and crafts display and sales booths, a food court, and martial arts demonstrations from a rich mix of eleven different cultures: the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Pakistan, Thailand, China, Korea, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, and Japan.
