Consulate supports Bicol disaster relief fund drive

TORONTO–The Philippine Consul General’s Office Toronto headed by Consul General Alejandro is strongly supporting the Bicol Canada, Inc. (BCI) disaster relief fund drive in order to help the rehabilitation of the Bicol Region which has been devastated by three typhoons namely Milenyo, Queenie, and Reming or Durian.

The fund campaign is headed by Joseph Redoblado, BCI president, and supported by the other officers and members of the Bicolano association in Toronto.

The BCI project has also the backing of other Filipino associations in Toronto City and other groups coming from other regions of the Philippines who have already settled in other parts of Canada.

Prospective donors are requested to contact Redoblado and other officers of the Bicol Canada, Inc. for more information about the project.

They can donate in kind and cash to the Bicol Disaster Relief Fund Drive.

The postal address of the BCI’s Bicol Disaster Relief Fund is 183 Ellendale Drive, Scarborough, Ontario MIP 1P3.

Cash donations can be directly deposited to CIBC Transit No. 01732 with Account Number 50 – 05817 while those who will give in kind can send their donations to the above address.
