TORONTO–The Women & Business 2007 is proud to present once again an educational and fun-filled business-networking evening specifically tailored for women looking for simple and practical ways to revitalize their business and careers, create marketing success and gain a competitive advantage by implementing techniques that work for their business.

The event will be held on May 10, Thursday, 4:00-8:00pm at the Golden Valley Banquet Hall on Principal Road (corner Ellesmere/Warden) Scarborough, Toronto.

This year’s keynote speaker is Canada’s Diamond Coach Adele Alfano, nominated for Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women and world-renowned as a motivational speaker and author. Alfano has also been nominated for Woman of the Year in Hamilton. She is the co-author, co-editor and publisher for the first ever in a series of collaborative books entitled “Experts Who Speak” books. Alfano will delve on “exploring and uncovering one’s inner gems”.

Marjo Johne, one of the speakers, will share her expertise on one of the most important keys in business: communication. Johne is a Filipino Canadian journalist who has worked with some of the country’s best creative agencies including Leo Burnett, Publicis, Taxi and Tribal DDB. She has written marketing material, speeches, web sites and advertising for the likes of Microsoft, Scotiabank, Delta Hotels, Air Canada, and HP Canada. Johne will give some tips to ensure that the messages we send are clearly understood by the recipient including our clients or the public.

Another dynamic Filipino Canadian speaker is Gina Cajucom, a Career and Work-Life Coach and a certified Professional in Human Resources. Cajucom graduated in Psychology and has managed careers for over 15 years as a Recruiter, Trainer, and Human Resources Manager. Her entrepreneurial experiences range from career coaching, recruitment and staffing, training & consulting, and direct marketing. Guests will be able to get pointers from Cajucom on how to structure business in the framework of and within the bigger agenda of one’s life.

Apart from the seminar, guests can relax and unwind through a free make-up demo and spa by well renowned cosmetics like Senegence International and Beauti-Control. Adding spice to this exciting gathering, Salad Master will be offering to the guests a free taste of grilled foods and salads through their wide range of healthy cooking system. More so, Salad Master will be giving away free dinner coupons.
