CLARIZ is 3 years old

The Canadian:adies Auxiliary for Rizal (CLARIZ) celebrated its third foundation anniversary July 14 (Saturday at the parish hall of the Our Lady of Assumption Church, 2565 Bathurst Street, Toronto, Ontario.

CLARIZ is aimed to promote the vision and ideals of the Philippine national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal and at the same, supporting the feeding program of Catanihan Foundation in Davao.

CLARIZ President Lady Felisa (Baby) Palumbarit thanked the different Filipino-Canadian community, religious and youth organizations which continuously cupporting the project of the Canadian Ladies Auxiliary for Rizal for the last three years.

The third anniversary celebration of the Canadian Ladies Auxiliary for Rizal was memorable considering of its lively atmosphere with western motif and the selection of best costumes winners.

The best costume winners include Domingo Trinidad and Jimmy of the Knights of Columbus, San Lorenzo Ruiz Council; Anabelle Chipongian of the FCT; Ron and Florence Carpio of the Featinians for couple winners with Jimmy and Mila Lupango, Knights of Columbus, San Lorenzo Ruiz Council and Daughters of Isabella, Circle 1297, runner-up.

Aside from Lady Felisa (Baby) Palumbarit are Lady Jojo Sebastian, vice president; Lady Precy Cerezo, secretary; Lady Jovy Cerezo, treasurer; Lady Mila Lupango, auditor; Lady Alma Torreno, press relations officer; Lady Trini Espiritu, intercessor; and the advisers include Lady Ching Quejas, Lady Ligaya Cana, and Lady Sonia Genpesaw.

CLARIZ is now embarking on the construction of a feeding room for the children’s feeding program of the Catanihan Foundation in Davao.
