VP Noli de Castro tops SWS Survey for ‘Best Leader to Succeed Arroyo’

[Under the present Constitution, the term of Pres. Arroyo is up to 2010 only, and there will be an election for a new President in May 2010. Who do you think are good leaders who should succeed Pres. Arroyo as President? You may give up to three names], 31% named Vice-President De Castro, 28% named Sen. Legarda, and 27% named Sen. Villar.

  1. Noli best leader to succeed Arroyo? I don't think so. I didn't see or hear him in relation to blatant abuses of power and corruption by Arroyo. How could he lead if he doesn't stand by moral principles but was just keeping mum? Not much conviction to be a good leader.
