The workshop will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.,with a 30-minute lunch break. The workshop’s course syllabus will include an intensive, interactive, hands-on participatory approach to ensure a productive learning experience for all qualified attendees.
Workshop methodology will focus on computer-based and video-assisted group and individual instructions in the 1) Application Process : Resume & Cover Letter Writing Clinic (Sampling/”Tailoring”);
2) Interview Process: Preparation, Questions and Answering(Simulation/Critiquing); and 3) Recruitment Process : Selecting and Hiring Procedures/”Getting There”.
Tony A. San Juan, a teacher at the Toronto District School Board and Vice President of the Philippine Teachers Association (PTA) will facilitate the workshop. San Juan is expected to share his considerable background and experience as an educator and teacher in the Philippines, Nigeria, and Canada.
