Job seekers, retired people and those who are unemployed would be able to find various avenues to earn money in the forthcoming Income Opportunity Show on March 7 at the Red Rose Convention Centre in Mississauga. Admission is free for earlier registration otherwise entrance fee is $8.00.
Organized by Tiro Marketing & Communications, the event will feature a full day of networking and seminars led by notable business coaches. Paul Tobey, President of Training Business Pros and a renowned business coach will discuss how to effectively market your business on the Internet.
Gina Cajucom of Insight Coaching will explore the techniques of sales and marketing. A special seminar will also be conducted by an OSME representative of the Public Works and Government Services Canada – Office of Small and Medium Enterprises. This seminar provides information on how to market to the federal government, how the government does its buying, and how to find opportunities to bid on Canadian government purchases.
An added bonus will be a brief insight on the forthcoming workshop on Blue Ocean Strategy: How to Create Uncontested Market Space and Make the Competition Irrelevant by W. Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne.
IOS (www.incomeevents.com) aims to gather professionals and companies who want to foster the development of small and medium sized enterprises. The event also provides employment opportunities, career development and relevant information on financial management.
“We believe that this event is significant in today’s economic difficulties,” said Marlou Tiro, organizer of the Income Opportunity Show. “People need to open up to new horizons and be receptive to new things.
Guests will have the opportunity to network with people who are raring to move forward. Companies from different industries are gathered under one roof to offer different avenues in becoming an entrepreneur so there is really a lot of significant opportunities to explore whether one is seeking sales skills development or in search for new business.”
The Income Opportunity Show has already gained support from various organizations such as some members of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce-Toronto and Ontario Small Vendor Association, financial institutions like TD Canada Trust and Primerica, school centres like the Youth and Exchange Program Centre for Education and Training.
